Somatic Tantra

—————————————————

"And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?"

-Rumi

—————————————————

I am exposed to new people, experiences, teachings, and methods everyday that deepen my knowledge and understanding of the path I’m on, my site will evolve over time with me to share new things and communicate to the best of my ability the indescribable experience I wish to share with you…

Somatic Tantra: A Natural Path to Emotional Healing and Kundalini

This far into my journey to uncover the mysteries of the mind, body, and spirit—and the potential that lies within the unification of this trinity— my personal and professional practice, alongside today’s scientific research and the spiritual practices of the past, has led me to what I view as the most potent form of healing: the body’s meditative state of self-healing, achieved through bodywork, somatic work, breath-work, passive stretching, meditative exercises, and tantric practices. Moreover, sharing these vulnerable healing and spiritual moments with another person who understands, empathizes, and doesn’t judge the ways in which these releases of trapped emotions manifest is profoundly important in the healing process that paves the way towards homeostasis.

We must feel to heal, but it’s more than just mentally processing losses, trauma, stress, regrets, and so on. These events, along with experiences from early childhood that we may not consciously remember, can physiologically alter us, unknowingly creating perpetual states of fear, anxiety, depression, impulsivity, detachment, and more. I’ll delve into this further later, but what I’m emphasizing now is that the only way out is through. Together, we’ll embark on a path to a state where these physiological and emotional kinks can unravel, allowing them to properly process and release.

Additionally, this work addresses more than just trauma. It can also help with chronic tension and postural issues. The Western approach views chakras in association with the concept of muscle armoring. As you continue reading, the physiological mechanisms—such as neural pathways, nerve impulses becoming trapped, and trapped signals distorting the body through stuck muscular contractions and facial restrictions—will become clearer. These sessions can address the root of these adaptations and help to restore balance.

Alternatively, the experience can be transcendent, leading to a deeper connection between your mind and body, and potentially a blissful state where you connect with a higher power. This state is known as Kundalini Awakening, defined in ancient Indian spiritual traditions as a powerful spiritual experience where dormant energy, believed to be coiled at the base of the spine, rises through the chakras, leading to profound transformation, including intense physical sensations, emotional releases, heightened awareness, and deep spiritual insights.

It’s been fascinating to learn modern methods and realize that people were discussing these concepts hundreds or even thousands of years ago, just from a different perspective and with the limited knowledge of the brain and body they had at the time. If you’re a history buff, it definitely makes you think that maybe Graham Hancock is onto something—possibly, advanced civilizations existed in the past that knew far more but were wiped out by cataclysmic events, sending us back to the Stone Age. As a result, knowledge was lost, diluted, and distorted as it was passed down through a generational game of telephone spanning tens of thousands of years.

Before we continue, to save you time if anything doesn’t work for you, save myself from unwanted propositions , and to expedite the booking process, here’s some information to know upfront and then we can go into more.

-This is not sex, it’s a path toward self healing and  Kundalini. Sexual energy is our life force and harnessing that energy in a different manner allows you to achieve far more than an orgasm. If a simple rub and tug is what you want, I understand that urge and encourage you to find someone that offers that. If you want to reach for a deeper more meaningful experience and connection with yourself, then I’m your man.

-I only offer outcalls

-I offer different session options

  1. 120 minutes for $300

  2. 180 minutes for $500 which includes pelvic floor work.

  3. I also offer extended or overnight sessions for $200 per hour for additional methods for a deeper journey within.

More information on these options can be found below

-After reading the full site I require that you share the following

  1. Acknowledgment you read the site and understand what I do and you’re seeking something deeper and more meaningful than a more superficial sensual experience and that you’re willing to put in the work on your end.

  2. A photo

  3. Which city you’re in

  4. The type of session you’d like

  5. Dates and times that would work for you

  6. Share why you’d like this work and one goal or intention for the session.

-I ask you plan ahead and prebook, I do a maximum of two sessions a day from Noon-Midnight. Feel free to reach out same day, but I may not see it right away.

-This work is generally done sober. Marijuana is allowed on a case by case basis.

-Questions are welcome, but no response will be given to sexually driven/explicit language.

-I will respond to initial texts to verify it’s me, but communication will pause until I receive the required information.

It’s difficult to put in words what I do, because there are no words. Before you had your first orgasm or got drunk for the first time, could someone have ever used words to tell you what those altered states of mind feel like? The Mind/Body/Soul is capable of so much more than we know… regulating body temperature to extremes of running naked and barefoot in the snow without ever experiencing the cold or hypothermia, fighting endotoxins off injected directly into the body, and the list goes on. What I work with is guiding you to a state of natural healing and a possible Kundalini Awakening depending on where you are.

On the Somatic side there’s a whole science. The body remembers what the mind forgets, and there it remains until it is allowed to express itself. Somatic Tantra is a way to set aside the mask of your conscious mind and let your subconscious and autonomic nervous system express themselves. But it’s also deeper than that and that part I can’t put in words, it’s a state you must experience to know. I combine somatic bodywork, breath work, and Tantra to address the entire body while addressing sexuality which is a fundamental component to the human experience, second only to food and water. This is intimate, but it’s not sex or practiced with the intent to achieve orgasm. It is a practice in which your conscious mind takes the back seat and we explore deep within, allowing anything, even forgotten experiences in life that were held onto and trapped within the body to surface and run its course so it can finally be released. Below I’ll start with the science, delve into the Tantric side, how the session unfolds, and what you’ll need to do as well.

Stress and trauma can profoundly impact the brain’s structure and function, particularly how neurons connect and communicate. These changes can affect behavior, thought processes, and emotional regulation. Here’s how trauma can alter neural connections:

1. Hyperarousal of the Amygdala: The amygdala, a key structure in the brain’s limbic system, plays a crucial role in processing emotions, especially fear. Trauma can lead to a hyperactive amygdala, making it more reactive to perceived threats and causing an individual to frequently experience heightened states of fear and anxiety. This hyperarousal can reinforce neural pathways that are overly reactive to stress, enhancing the fight-or-flight response.

2. Shrinking of the Hippocampus: The hippocampus is involved in forming and retrieving memories, including distinguishing past and present experiences. Research has shown that chronic stress and trauma can lead to a decrease in the volume of the hippocampus. This atrophy can impair an individual’s ability to contextualize memories, leading to flashbacks and difficulties distinguishing between past trauma and current, non-threatening situations.

3. Prefrontal Cortex Impairment: The prefrontal cortex (PFC) is responsible for higher cognitive functions such as reasoning, decision-making, and impulse control. Trauma can reduce the functional connectivity and efficiency of the PFC, impairing an individual’s ability to make decisions, control impulses, and regulate emotions effectively. This can make it harder for trauma survivors to manage stress and can lead to issues like increased irritability, impulsivity, and difficulty focusing.

4. Altered Stress Hormone Regulation: Trauma can change the way the brain and body respond to stress, often through dysregulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which controls the body’s hormone response to stress. This dysregulation can result in either an exaggerated release of stress hormones like cortisol, leading to chronic stress conditions, or a blunted response, which can result in symptoms like fatigue, depression, and a lack of emotional responsiveness.

5. Changes in the Brain’s Reward System: Trauma can affect the brain’s reward system, which involves areas like the nucleus accumbens and the neurotransmitter dopamine. Alterations here can lead to an increased risk of developing addictive behaviors, as individuals may seek substances or activities that temporarily boost dopamine levels and provide relief from emotional distress.

These changes can create a feedback loop where trauma reinforces neural pathways that exacerbate stress and fear responses, making it more challenging for individuals to recover from traumatic experiences without intervention to “rewire” these neural pathways.

Somatic Tantra: A Twofold Approach

1. Somatic Bodywork: facilitates healing by promoting a shift from the sympathetic to the more soothing parasympathetic state, where relaxation and regeneration occur. This is achieved through methods that stimulate the vagus nerve, a key part of the parasympathetic nervous system, encouraging a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, which helps alleviate the physical symptoms of stress and anxiety. Additionally, somatic bodywork supports neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to form new neural connections. By providing new, positive physical experiences, it helps rewire the brain towards stability and calm, aiding the recovery of critical areas such as the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. This enhances memory processing and emotional control, paving the way for a more balanced and resilient mental state.

2. Tantric Bodywork: This not only builds a deep connection between us and channels tantric energy but also treats the penis and pelvic floor as equally important parts of the body as any other, maybe more important as these these parts of your body not only are tied to the flight, flight, freeze response which can trap impulses and emotions, but like I mentioned before sexual energy is among the most powerful driving forces in life and we hold a lot of energy in intimate areas.

All are welcome! However, due to the intensity of these sessions, I cannot perform this modality on anyone with the conditions listed below. If you fall into one of these categories, I’m still happy to offer a different style of bodywork. Please take the following conditions seriously, as this work can trigger episodes or worsen your condition:

- Cardiovascular disease (heart attacks, high blood pressure, angina)

- Psychosis

- Seizures

- Severe mental illness (generally considered if the condition required institutionalization or medication)

- Aneurysms

For those who have suffered sexual or physical trauma: you are welcome, and you may share your experience before we begin if you choose. I just ask that you let me know so I can adapt the session accordingly.

I offer three variations of this work to make it as affordable as possible. Everyone is different, but I draw from deep tissue, trigger point, stretching, breath work, cranial sacral, myofascial release, nuru, and tantric modalities to guide you to a state of self regulation or further (Descriptions of these can be found in the dropdown menu).

You’ll dress down to your comfort level. I like to use chest to chest contact so I will perform work in loose shorts. Many moments will be long sustained holds, starting out with no pressure at all and sinking in slowly. I’ll go deep, but at a pace where the body accepts it. Before some areas release it can be more intense, the muscle can start to push back, I’ll describe later how your mind will try to play games and resist letting go, and I observe muscles do this as well. Possibly linked to the subconscious mind as if it knows this tension is holding things in place and an energetic dam will break if it’s released. Discomfort and pain are two different things, please let me know when one crosses into the other.

Your job, though is sounds easy, is actually the hard part… relax. I don’t mean just lay there, I mean as if you were asleep, every muscle limp, mouth hanging open kind of relaxed. Beyond that, this is a practice of mental relaxation as well. I will perform body work and tantric work you’ll also need to relax through, it can be difficult to be on the receiving end of affection and not want to reach out to hold or touch, or to relax through trigger points that are apexes of dysfunction, but total relaxation it’s an important part to get you where you need to go. Lastly is the breath work, it’s the beginning of the final stage once I get you to a certain point that opens the door and both starts you on your journey within and allows me to go in with bodywork to really draw things out while you’re there. This requires effort on your end to really do the work. If it’s your first time going into yourself it can be scary to give up control, we put a lot of effort controlling ourselves and our composure to function is society, which in turn means we unintentionally trap not only things that’ve happened to us, losses in life, but we also hold all those things we resist or can’t express within, that’s what we want to bring out. The conscious mind will fight you at first to maintain control, but the most important question I’ve used in self practice is why? Why am I feeling “blank?”… and sit there with that and work through it. I’ve learned there are two types of fear, one you can handle, it’s scary, but you’ll be fine to keep going… the other you don’t need to worry about because our subconscious knows your limits and it’ll just jolt you out of it. Just be aware if you’re still there, you’re safe even if it’s scary, but you need to feel to heal and the only way out is through. When it’s actually too much you’ll snap out of it. I’ll be there to guide you and make you feel comfortable to take the mask off and let it all out. It often comes in waves, each one growing in intensity, and when you reach certain points I’ll either add things in on my end or direct you to do something to go deeper.

How will releases manifest? It’s different for everyone, light headedness, tingling, twitching, shaking, involuntary movement or sounds, seeing light, saying things, crying, yelling, laughter, ejaculation can happen as well but if this happens just stay in the moment and continue to breathe and relax and continue with only involuntary responses allowing them to run their course and exit the body. That can be mild or just euphoric, or on the more intense end it can manifest as what looks almost like a seizure while yelling or crying. No matter how it comes, I’ve seen it all, please do not feel self conscious. It’s a beautiful process no matter how it comes, it’s an honor for me to witness and for your trust and willingness to let yourself go with me. Everything remains confidential. If you choose to share a testimonial with me I’d be happy to anonymously share it here to help others reading this gain a better understanding and hopefully over time collect enough that represent the spectrum of how Somatic Tantra releases manifest.

—The version I recommend is $500 for three hours and includes pelvic floor work. I also offer extended sessions on this option for $200 an hour where we can incorporate other methods for a deeper journey within

—If the three hour is outside your means, I offer an adapted two hour session for $300

**It’s best to book when you can take time to relax and take time to come back afterwards.

This next part doesn’t apply to everyone, but there’s no predicting what will come. We’ll be handing the keys over to your inner self. It can be an overall amazing feeling, but if there are trapped energy loops there’s also the potential for any unprocessed experiences you’ve had in life, including events from childhood predating memory to surface with this work. A Kundalini Awakening is where I’d like to take you at some point, but there may be obstructions that need to be cleared first. For the mind/body, when these things surface, there’s no distinction between past and present. The raw emotions of that experience can be just as strong in the session as when you feel them in the past. In the session when you approach precipice, you’ll need to be willing to let go. Letting go can be scary, the possible flooding of emotion and the involuntary movements, even feeling you’re about to start convulsing. These things unfortunately don’t magically go away with time or with mental processing, these events have physiologically altered you and effect mental/physical health, emotional responses, and decision making even if you aren’t aware. When you’re ready to do so, it’s important to walk through the fire so you can eliminate these things from the body, my job will be to hold your hand and walk you through it in a safe and fully accepting manner so you aren’t alone. I’ve been there, convulsing, reliving terror, reliving of near drowning to where I couldn’t breathe, reliving of grief at the intensity of the moment the loss happened. Your body will not harm you, but it will do what it needs to heal. None of it was fun, but the places and states of mind you can attain later make it worth it. Some or none of these more intense things may happen, but I want you to be aware of what you may find yourself needing to confront.

Why with Tantra? One for connection and to make you feel comfortable. If sexual enegy is there it allows you to relax further, leaving you more mentally and physically open and accepting to what I need to do. Everyone is different, cases of sexual trauma will change what I do, but I generally like to do a pendulating approach, starting soft and caressing and slowly increasing the intensity, going back and forth between nurturing and adding slightly more dominate energy with each swing back, and coming back to make sure you feel safe and not going past where you’re receptive. My approach with this is before leading you further I want to establish with your subconscious that I’m strong enough to take control and take care of you. Knowing you’re not alone, that you’re safe, and not in any way judged makes it easy for your conscious mind to let go.

————————————

—90 and 120 minute therapeutic massage sessions are also available for $300/ $400 ($200 an hour after). This is body work, not a massage, my goal is to make you feel better after the session. That doesn’t mean painful, just the possibility for some slight prolonged discomfort depending on what’s going on. Therapeutic sessions include fascial stretching, myofascial release, trigger point, and deep tissue to address pain, stress, posture, and range of motion. All the same booking requirements are the same and also include a description of what’s giving you trouble, what your goal is, and how achieving that would improve your quality of life.

“I recently experienced a somatic tantra massage with Finn, which was something I’d previously not had any experience with.  Finn was highly knowledgeable and before we started he walked me through  how it could help surface any number of emotions or reactions, and to try  let that happen organically.  This guidance helped me feel open and prepared, and that I was in really good hands.   in my case as the session progressed I felt an incredible body high come on that was both exhilarating and deeply relaxing. The sensations were unlike anything I'd ever experienced, with waves of energy coursing through me. I felt body tingling and a sensation of being awe-struck, and ultimately a swelling of pure joy and connection.   Finn did an absolutely incredible job of guiding me through it all, and making me feel so comfortable and well looked after.   I can tell he is passionate about his craft and his training, it truly shows in his work.”

“I contacted Finn and, miraculously, he was available for later in the day. He arrived punctually, with is table, a warming pad and even an oil warmer, totally self contained. Finn is an attractive young man, beautiful body, gentle and totally present from the moment he arrives. He required reading his website, which is both informative and helpful, in fact it was his website that convinced me to go ahead and request a session.I have had experience with tantric breathing and massage in the past but nothing comes near to what Finn offers and delivers, I have never experienced anything quite like it. Finn’s technique incorporates different styles resulting in various levels of intense intimacy, body closeness, breathing routines,  muscle massage and release. There was never an issue of time from when he began asking about my concerns, possible questions or needs to the leisurely executed massage even remaining present as I slowly resurfaced,  generously going over the time I had requested.I cannot recommend Finn highly enough if you are seriously interested in body awareness, somatic healing or dealing with trauma, he has a unique gift, not to be missed.”

“I just had what I have to say is the best physical and mental massage experience. Finn is professional, was right on time, excellent communication, and had everything ready to provide the amazing massage.
His knowledge and expertise of the somatic tantra massage was evident as I experienced exactly what he said would happen.
I usually have difficulty releasing control of myself to anyone but with Finn's calm demeanor, I was able to relax and enjoy the moment. I've never had an experience like this before-it was incredible.
I could go on and on so I'll wrap it up by recommending, wholeheartedly, that you contact Finn and set up a session. You will not regret it!”

“My experience with Finn exceeded all my expectations. After thoroughly exploring Finn’s website and following his journey, I realized, with the guidance of my therapist, that Finn was the right person to accompany me on this path. He is kind, compassionate, and possesses a wealth of knowledge, making him a delightful presence to be around. His energy is truly contagious.
Today, I had my first session with Finn, and the experience was quite a rollercoaster of emotions. I shifted from feelings of euphoria to nausea, then to a surge of energy, excitement, and back to euphoria again. As I absorbed Finn's words, I allowed myself to let go. At one moment, the room darkened, only to be suddenly filled with intense light. When I opened my eyes, I was enveloped in a sense of peace and tranquility, feeling truly alive—almost as if I had been reborn.
Describing this experience in words is a challenge, as language falls short in conveying its depth. I highly recommend it, and I welcome any questions you may have. Having dealt with PTSD and childhood sexual traumas, I emerged from this session feeling confident and empowered. Thank you, Finn. I look forward to our next meeting!“

“If you read Finn’s profile carefully, you will understand that the type of session you are about to receive is going to be different. But what you don’t understand is how he takes care of you during the session. If you release expectations, he guides you through a body and mind transformation. A transformation that truly allows your body to release stress on a number of levels. Add to the experience that he is incredibly sweet and caring, you can be assured that this is time well spent and a gift to yourself. Trust him and his expertise…and you will not be disappointed.”
